Terms of Use
Mutual is a private communication utility for two adults who already know each other. It is not a dating, hookup, public-social, or emergency service.
Eligibility and consent
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these terms. Both people must voluntarily choose to join the same private space. Mutual does not replace ongoing consent, direct communication, judgment, or personal safety.
Your account and invitation
Each account may belong to only one active couple. Keep one-time codes and invitation links private. Do not attempt to access another couple, interfere with the service, automate invitation guessing, or misrepresent your identity. Either partner may unpair at any time.
Mutual Pro purchases
Mutual is free to download, create a pair, and accept an invitation. Eligible features require Mutual Pro. A verified purchase by either active partner grants access to the current couple. The purchase remains owned by the Apple Account and Mutual account that purchased it if the couple later unpairs. Monthly subscriptions renew until cancelled through Apple. Founding Lifetime is a non-consumable purchase. Storefront prices, billing, refunds, restoration, and subscription management are handled by Apple and RevenueCat under their applicable terms.
Beta access
Approved TestFlight accounts may receive temporary server-controlled beta access without charge. Beta access may expire or be removed and is separate from an App Store purchase. Beta software may contain errors and should not be relied on for urgent communication.
Service availability and termination
Mutual may change, suspend, or discontinue beta functionality and may restrict accounts that abuse the service or threaten its security. You may stop using Mutual, unpair, or delete your account at any time. No system is guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error free.
Support
